So today A nice little old man comes to my shop door with three empty Aqua fina bottles in his hands and says to me .. senor` agua porfavor (pointing to the garden hose outside) not wanting him to drink the nasty hose water I said ..venga aquĆ en vez de eso, esta agua es mejor (my crappy stumbling interpetation) and took him in the shop to the ice cold Brita filtered water cooler ,then I filled the bottles one at a time for him ,he nodded ,gracias and walked out Heres where he went  (to fill his radiator  :o) ;D did I feel like a Dumbass ,guess you had to be there  :banghead:  ;D

I remember being in Santa del Golfo in the salt farms. One of the other wheelers fell through the salt into the deep goo. There were several big trucks trying to rope yank this ranger out. and everyone had shovels, etc trying to free the beast.

Suddenly, the 3 mexican good samaritans started coming towards us with an old truck bench seat. We thought, Oh good, something to set the truck on to get it out.

They sat down on the bench, cracked open thier beers, and watched......

Hours Later - they got the tractor when they were tired of watching and pulled out the ranger.

Never waste beer. That reminds me of when i was a lil kid and me and my parents were off to temecula for a family bbq and my dads 280z over heated cause the radiator hose fell off. So he fixes it and puts it back on but all he had was beer in the cooler so he filled it up with beer till we could get some where with water. Good ol dad sacraficed his beloved beer.

I have a buddy who swears he fixed a blown hose and then filled the radiator with grape soda!  Continued on across the Utah desert and got where he was going.  Is this possible?  I've wanted to call BS for 20 yrs or more but he continues to amaze me with all things mechanical.
Back on topic -- good for you Tom.  Kinda sux the way society treats old people nowadays. JBP continues its rep for great service above and beyond.  :D

I am always amazed at how people just keep driving when someone needs help. I stopped once near South Cost Plaza for a guy that barely spoke a word of english, he was broke down in the center lane. 10 minutes later I gave him a new fuse for his fuel pump(the old one had a lil corrosion on it) guy pulled out his wallet and started reaching for $$$. I wouldnt take a dime from him and he was in shock!
