Most of you didn't know that I dunked my GoPro camera last week at the river, because I normally keep my mouth shut when I *uck up!
Anyway it would not do anything except light the red light if plugged in to charge the battery, Nothing, Nada, Zero...
So after a week in a bag of rice and no change, I started looking for a replacement and/or repair options. I found a site that a guy was getting results by giving it a vinegar bath, so I gave it a try... I tested it again about 6 hours after the bath and it started and functioned (just minutes before I was going to give a last minute bid on a replacement). I've taken a couple short videos and watched them to confirm that they looked normal ;D
So, I'm giving the link to the guys site with the info on how it was done. Maybe it'll help someone else around here.
