Anybody here seen Pawn Stars or American Restoraion on TV? Anyway, Rick of Ricks Restoraions does all the restoration work on the stuff they buy at the pawn shop on the show, gas pumps, coke machines..... Thats where I work now. I'm starting at the bottom (sandblasting) and it royaly suxx. Hope I dont quit before I move up :-\ Says he gets a lot of calls for harley engines and stuff but nobody to do it. I told him I do. I asked what kind of response they got off the ad and they told me they pulled the ad after 250 applicants.

They already have the cast for the season picked and have started filming. The show wont be on now till January

We got a big ass vacume cleaner they used to vacume trains out with. It was taken out of service in 1941. It has a big cast iron blower on it. This dude tried to take it apart and broke one of the big iron gears in half. Now we have a 1955 Matchles motorcycle and he wants to "semi polish" the VIRGIN engine and trans cases :banghead: :screwy:

they sell those shirts like that. his kid sports cut off tee shirts. we all signed a bunch of shirts to raffel on friday.

well here it goes HD just had all i can take with the bullshit so i just quit my job today.well had one of these younger punks that knows it all and has done that. so it seem as much as he has done he should be about 80 yrs old. got other work in the works.most of us put up with alot of crap just to make ends meet.

Could prolly get away with a hat. Maybe shirts in the back ground. I filmed the cash register to day and then the camara dude goes, "Oh fu*ck, your shirt" I had a Dyno-Flo shirt on and I had to put on my Rick's shirt and reshoot........then I stck my face in the camara and reshoot and...

thats bad ass man. ricks restos are pretty sweet. you should learn alot there and you get to see all the cool shit that comes in the door. i will look for you behind the scenes when i am watching the tv shows. lol ;D

Ok so this guy wants me to come in in the morning and get a '57 chevy runnin. It's just been painted and is all stock. The motor is sitting in it and the wiring will need some love (like three wires to run). It has an automatic so I'll have to make some tranny cooler lines. They asked if I had any supercharger Exp. on the phone, had a couple blown small block street rod motors in there.

OK third day now. I'm like the foreman now. The '57s not runnin yet but close, waitin on parts from Danchuck. It's a Belaire and I gotta put all the windows in and theres a butt load of trim on them badboys.
