So ive been out of a boat for a while and really getting that itch to get back on the water. Was bored today and got on craigs and came across this. Went and looked at it today and im almost sold on it. 24 foot sleek, bbf 460, berk and it seems to be in pretty solid shape. Hes asking 5800 obo which i think is a little steep but im going to be trading my chevelle and hes throwing in some cash on top. What you guys think?

Welcome back. Looks like a nice cruiser. But that is a HUUUGGE jet boat. Are you going to get a chance for a test drive?
-
Well im gonna take him for a ride in the car and drive it like i stole it because im confident in it so i hope he gives the option to take to it the lake for a ride. If not ill probably pass. And yah, it is huge....so big its got a damn refrigerator, bed and 2 couches under the bow. But its what i really wanted after i sold the kona and its what i told my wife id get next. My daughter will be 4 here pretty quick and she loves the water and just finished her second 4 week long swiming class. So im ready for another boat.

I had a 24' Hawaiian cruiser, evrything you described minus the fridge. They're tanks and ride like a Cadillac. The one I had, had two 40 gallon tanks.
Hate to be a downer, but I'll be honest. You'll need a second job to put fuel in the beast.

Well i dont really NEED another boat but i have always liked the sleekcraft executive. And as far as an i/o i dont think id ever own another one. Nothing wrong with them just not for me, my dad and i had a 18' searay with the chevy inline 4 and it was a good boat, cheap to use and great on gas but props arnt cheap and we always seemed to have something wrong with the drive.
-
If you can or have the option of looking at other boats, look for a sleekcraft JR. Executive, same hull design just in a 21 ft. Probably one of the best boats I've ever owned, ran smooth and did 58-60

Good luck with your choice of that executive. I know the wife and the kids going to enjoy it. They do need station wagons LOL.

Are you sold on the cabin? What about an open bow? For ~$6k there are options out there.

With all the pictures, I take it you got the boat?

I agree if you need something that big and comfortable go for the I/O we had an 21 foot open bow 87 Sanger with an I/O it was a rare boat not as big as what your looking at but my daughters are 8 and 6 and we had that boat for 4 seasons and they loved it so did the wife and it had a
SB 350 with a Alpha 1 i/O easy maintenance it had two 20 gallon tanks and we went all weekend all over the place on 2 tanks of gas.

I would love to find a good home for my station wagon. PM me a phone number or email and I can send some pics. Boat is in Redlands if you want to look at it. 23 ft. Wreidt Montana with a new 455 done right. Im sure we could agree on a price under $5800. Cash makes people do crazy things.5

Jordan that first boat listing used to be mine I took that picture here in Il. It is a Hawaiian not an advantage I bought it from the second owner Who had just put new interior in it and redone pump I just freshened up the motor. I hauled out to Scottsdale to my sisters and sold it to a man somewhere in Southern California. That was when I look at the Baker for the first time I sold it to him for 10,500. So I would be leery of that post. Just say N. The boat is like new though.
