yesterday i took a trip from parker dam up thru havasu, around and back down. i filled up and killed one tank, switched to the other. when we were done for the day we packed everything up and put the cooler on the same side as the full tank, which was the same side i was sitting on as well. all the weight on one side... doh!
we headed back to the launch ramp and these huge rollers were coming at me from the side... no biggie i figured as we were cruising @ 3500 or so, and i came down one of em and i think the front end hooked into the next wave. before i could even blink it tossed us ass end around like a jet ski. luckily we didnt fly out and i restarted it and got going again and turned the bilge pump on just to be sure. scared the shit out of me. our friends in their boat were following us and when we got back on the trailer they were like "how'd u do that? it looked cool!" all i could think was "i need to check my pants..."

Yikes! Yes, that would be scary.
Glad it worked out better for you than it did for this guy. Bass Boat Crash (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UEETjztLqI#)

that's a really scary feeling when that happens, me and my buddy got thrown out of his flatty last summer when his prop shaft came undone and hit the rudder when he decelerated too fast at about 60mph

I was wondering the same thing. The other boat was right there. Maybe they had to shoot some more video. ;)
We had an old Century inboard when I was a kid, and the prop shaft came out of the coupling. It bent the rudder back, but we did not lose control, fortunately.
