My canine bud lost her fight to old age today. She is going to leave a canyon sized hole in my life for a while.

Our hearts and thoughts go out to you, our girl, who looks just like yours, just hit 11, and we are doing our best to make the rest of the time she has as comfortable as possible.It hurts to see them going through this, but also hurts even more to see them go.

Sorry for your loss.  I heard someone say recently that a dogs only fault is a short lifespan.
