Water level in Parker
« on: July 09, 2015, 12:26:42 PM »
I was curious on when the water level is good to head out in Parker and if there are any areas to avoid. Headed our tonight and staying in the Keys.

try this: http://www.usbr.gov/lc/region/g4000/hourly/DavisParkerSchedules.pdf

Parker (Dam) rarely lets out more than 4 units.

So which column should I base it off of "Generating Units" or the "Release"?

Its one in the same-
4600 cfs = 1 unit

3 units @ Parker is good, 4 is better

I've been on 2 and less @ Bullhead...  :screwy:

I have been all over Parker with three units without any problems. November of last year I went dam to dam with two units with a prop. Keep your eyes open and stay in the deep channel. Friday's the lower river is always a challenge

In a jet you'll be fine. I took an early morning cruise a couple weeks ago and didn't have any problems. There's a rock bar north of all the bars clearly marked with buoy's. If you can, try and get on the water early to enjoy the glass before too many of the rollbar's get on the water and mess it all up. 🍺🍺🍺
