« on: December 26, 2019, 12:17:58 PM »
My Fellow River Rats your help is needed! In early '72 My father commissioned  a custom built Cheetah when they were located is Stanton Ca. Originally it was Orangish red with a silver deck and a shit ton of metal flake,a closed bow, closed engine compartment. It had a Olds 455 Rocket spinning a Berk jc with a jetovator, and thru the hull exhaust. Ser up with lefthand steering.  It sat on a single axle Roadrunner trailer. Shortly after my dad brought the boat home,he was transferred up to Sacramento for work. Sometime in the late '70's- early '80's ,my Dad sold the boat due to the gas crunch and it being hard to insure. THE boat was sold in the Sacramento area. Then my my Dad died in '83. It has been my Drwam to find said boat and firepower and restore the Boat in My Fathers Memory..... So if ANYbody out there knows ANYTHING about said boat Please help a Brother out! Would be willing to pay a finders fee...

I, too, have been looking for my pops boat. 74 Eliminator, 18' 460/Berkeley combo. White and green. Sold it in 83, in Hemet, Ca.

I'll probably never find it.
I'm building a boat for me.
On the back, it'll say "Thanks Dad"

Only squirt boat #4 for me. Yeah, it's a sickness. My pops started it back in '77 with that boat. That 7 year old kid still plays with boats. 8)

Good luck with your search.

Find the CF numbers, and go from there.
