im still pretty new to the community but i will try to find mocking bird tonight or tomorrow. Do you guys usually hang outside after you get off the water

Mockingbird is the second rt past your street going to the Marina. Were are on the left past the stop sign. Will be flying an American and Dodger Flag. My be inside tonight watching the Dodgers loose again, but if you stop by, the dogs will let me know.

there are no streets to the left past me. I am the last road before the farm on the left heading towards the river. I am right before the Y in the road (king/kingsly) i think.

The second rt past you is the Y in the road, keep full rt and that is Mockingbird, go past stop sign and we are on the left. :thumbup:

wait are you talking tomorrow or wed? I wont get there till the evening tomorrow. I have to work, i get off around 4 and its a 3.5 hour drive to get there.

That would be tomorrow, Wednesday we will be on the last sandy beach on the AZ side before the pirate bar. Tomorrow nite we should be on the porch watching the Dodgers win their third in a row when you hit town :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

I love this time of year! I just got home from the river at 10 this morning and I am heading back tomorrow after work for another 5 days! It really does not get any better than this!

Still at the river till the 9th, so all is not lost.
Family is coming in tomorrow, and should land around same time as you Aquaholic, if you come by I will buy u a natty lite.

Hey i saw an old camaro out front of someones place one time when i was looking around out there. it was a maroon color. but now i cant find it. Do you what i am talking about or where it is.

Bad day at the river still beats a good day at work! As soon as it cleared up i went out and been smashin all day!

Update to Wednesday on the river: was headed to the Avi to watch the fireworks from the pontoon boat and was 3/4 the way between Willow Valley and the Avi when the motor quit running. Popped the engine cover and the bottom was filled with oil. :banghead: :banghead:
Called Ski tow and was setting up a tow when we were attacked by mosqitos. Luckily a boat happened by and towed us back to the Marina. Kudos to the guy who towed us, I think he was from AZ and refused to take any money. Thank you, thank you...... Left the boat docked in the Marina, and will see what the damage s tomorrow. When we got back everyone, including the dogs are covered in welts from the mosquitos. New rule, no more night rides on the river (unless covered in repelent)

How far down from Avi is all this? I've only been on this part of the river twice.

About 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile south of the AVI.

Thursday on the river:
Replaced the bunks on the pontoon boat trailer, made it to the Marina, and got the kids to power the boat back on the trailer. (it is amazing how 4 20 somethings can provide enough power in the water to swim a 25 foot party barge to the ramp) and got the boat back to our trailer. Checked the oil on the dip stick and it did register, so was not run dry. I am hoping it has a cut off switch for low pressure and did not hurt the motor (manuals are at home in Rancho). Will check it out in the AM to see where it is leaking, and figure out what to do with the milkshake in the bilge. The Dodgers won, and was able to have several cold ones, so overall, still at the river, and is always better than working.

I will be launching sometime this afternoon. Going to avi for smokes. I'll buzz down that way, see what I can see. Then I'll prolly hang at HArry's see whats up there in the evening. Anybody sees me give a holla. 420less hope that changes real soon :'(
