Title: Havasu/parker weekend...
Post by: ka0tyk on July 18, 2011, 12:00:06 AM
Went to havasu and parker this weekend... long story short, first time on the river for me.  Wasnt really a fan of the "traffic"... My starter is a pile of shit and it keeps getting "stuck" so I have to paddle.  Lastly my exhaust is still hotter than hell and my gf lost her balance and decided to see how hot it really was.  I heard the "sizzle"

Heres a few pix.

Ouch.

You need to climb in the boat from the side and stay away from the pipes.

Boat looks good on the water.

I'm getting closer by the week to launching mine.

Had a girlfriend's mother fall backwards onto the motor while gettin' her drunk on.  She got the back half of the Offenhauser script from the valve cover branded into her shoulder blade pretty good.  It showed up good years later.  No I don't have pics of the girlfriend, but she was 6' tall and curly blonde hair from head to toe.  >:D

Know exactly what tat feels like! Ouch, indeed! I think I can count on one hand the number of times I've been out that I HAVEN'T gotten at least a little burn somewhere......

The location of THAT one has to be uncomfortable........ :banghead:

Nice pics except for the exhaust burn, tell her to make sure she takes care of that.
I think we've all had those at one time or another and they hurt like hell.
I was curious, in the picture of the girls riding are those wakeskates or the small SUP boards or ? looks like fun.

Silvodine will do wonders for that burn! Best price and best starter I ever used was the jegs brand high torque starter...its $149.00 & worth it...its great even when your battery is    a little low...
