Title: heinekin paint works
Post by: FORKEDUP on March 20, 2008, 09:07:18 PM
so this all started last friday night, my stepdad and mom are heading out of town, i am working on the boat and he comes out, "hey if you are boared this weekend, paint the hood on my truck", ok so i have no paint or body experience whatsoever so i blow it off and continue working on the boat. After about 5 or 6 ok maybe 10 heinekin lights i decide f-it, i can paint, so i get out the sander and proceed to trash his hood, the wife comes out and immediatly (sp) retreats, she knows a bad thing when she sees it, so alot of sanding and alot of drinking later and several days later (after the weekend i could only work on it an hour or so a night) this is what i came up with, the pics are at night sorry, i will get some during the day. the first pic is of the roof, the hood was in the same condition and looked a little worse.   welcome to heinekin paint works

Chromey, what was the brand of the liner product you used?

I want to do something like that inside my CJ5, but I like the idea of having a color.
