The Staff here at SoCalJetBoats.com want to run a full page advertisement in this year?s program for the APBA/SCSC Long Beach Sprint Nationals. This will be great exposure to the site to draw in positive people to make this website bigger and better. It will benefit everyone by taking the site to the next level it deserves. Also, it will put a spotlight on the Team so they can go to the events confidently representing the sponsors that helped them get there.

The advertisement will cost $300 and I figure if we can get 30 people at $10 each it would cover the cost. For helping out, I will personally mail you two of SoCalJetBoats.com die cut stickers in the color of your choice (picture of the sticker to come later). I sell these stickers for $10 each, so youre getting 2 stickers for the price of one plus I will list everyone?s name or screen name on the advertisement that helped out.

Any additional money will go towards helping pay for the SoCalJetBoats.com booth that will be set up and will have a Nostalgia Jet Class boat Cj410 on display next to it.

To donate, simply click the PayPal donate button on the front page (left side on the bottom) or send it via paypal to donations@socaljetboats.com. Send $10 (or more ;D) and include in the notes the name you want displayed on the ad and the address in which you want the sticker sent to. The cutoff date to get your name on the ad is next Friday, July 6th, 2007.

We are over the initial $300 mark. The boot space is another $300. Any aditional money will go towards helping me afford all of this. You will still get your name in the ad and a set of stickers ;D

well, on the way home, it hit me.....i totally forgot about them...i forgot about the shirts and koozies....I was gunna put them on display for sale.......never happened.....it all just stayed in the boxes....i was just havin too much fun and never throught about it and no one asked me :(

so....im slammed busy this week with work and a big sticker project on an offshore boat for the catalina ski race this weekend. I will try to get them mailed out this week....im really sorry I am laggin on these and that i totally dropped the ball on getting them passed out at the avi.

I will make it up to you all somehow.

Post by: Brad @ SCJB on July 27, 2007, 10:34:11 AM: First off, I want to appologise to everyone who has contributed and I havent fully came through on my end of the deal. Shipping 18" stickers cheapy isnt possible so I've been doing homework on how to do this cost effectivly.

I have ordered the packaging and it should be delivered today (Thanks Mike!) ...and the stickers will be shipping out monday via USPS.

I just got word about 5 minutes ago that the Long Beach Sprint Nationals event programs were delivered today to the SCSC. I will be picking up a copy tomorrow and post pictures of the printed ad. I heard it looks great in the program!

I also secured the booth for the site at the Long Beach race.

Donations towards this cause are still being taken. Your help effectivly helps promote this place to help it grow to make it a bigger and better place for everyone. This site is just as much as yours as its mine - without you guys, this place would pretty worthless ;)

just to add to what Brad has said, i thank you as well, even though i dont have any thing to do with the site. the stuff you dont see us doing really doesnt effect you as pleasure boaters, but if you ever want to get into racing circle jets we are trying to make it a better class by becoming involved with the speed boat club of southern california and promoting the jet class as you can see by the full page ad that was taken out in the program and having a booth at the long beach race even though were not racing. we go to the monthly board meetings to learn and to let them know the WE scjb are here for the duration.
