Kitchen Remodel
« on: October 22, 2010, 10:03:17 PM »
Here's a kitchen we did a couple of years ago. It's on the Designer Home Tour.
Just the first 3 min. has our stuff in it.

Glenn, somehow I dont see your wife pulling up SCJB.
Sounds to me like you may have called her over to check it out.
If thats the case, not my fault. You just gave away a lot of boat money, ask Bob.

Not a problem Ray, drop the cabs 16" from the ceiling. Instead of a traditional plate shelf above the the cabs put all the motor stuff. Maybe some up lighting to set off the polished stuff. Even better different color lighting to set the mood.

I'll send you some pics of the challenges that await you on this one.....The C4 is not a bad idea....

But, the house is pretty much all vaulted celings, save for the kitchen. My friends wives hate it, Cin hated it, I'm a guy, I don't mind....

Proppy and I BOTH learned our lessons about engine parts on the counter, or in the kitchen AT ALL, the hard way, although I think Proppy was recently granted a pardon and allowed back in the house. He blames me. Go figure.

Current G/F made the comment to me, if I remember right "Is this a place to prepare and cook meat or just to play with it".......

Ouch........lol.

Ray

Great work by the way Ron! I'm interested!

I have a 22" HD monitor on my 'puter and she was looking over my shoulder and saw "Kitchen Remodel" and remarkably that was all it took for her to read the whole thing and played the vid....

Really nice work.

It doesn't help that she saw pictures of Bob's kitchen last year...... :screwy:
