I've been into Jet boats for a long time (had friends who raced boats), but I just bought my own boat..
I was searching for some place to get parts (possibly used) when i came across this site. looks like my new home for everything Jet Boats.!!
I also found "Jet Boat Performance" on here which i am ordering some stuff from tomorrow.
The boat needs some interior & trailer work, but the motor & pump are done.
I'm going to take it up & store it outside of Sacramento for a while, a friend will work on it a little. So it will be tip top for next year. (hopefully i'll get to take it out a few times this year still.)
I'm not going to race it officially, but just for fun.. O0

Welcome to SCJB ;D
This is a great place for information and you really can't go wrong when dealing with Jet Boat Performance.

Welcome! From what Proppy told me, GT should have any part you need! If he ain't got it, it prolly wasn't ever made, lol.
You can't go wrong with Grampa Tom at JBP! Good luck with it! Lets see some pics of the beast!

Welcome aboard. I pretty much did the same thing as you, only I found this place from Jet Boat Performance's links page. There are some very knowledgeable people on this site. I've learned a ton.

Thanks for the welcome..
I posted the boat pic in the showcase section. ;D

Your boat looks great. One of the things I love about this site is that most of the guys here have classic jet boats. Not too many high $$$ blown tunnels, not that I don't like them, but I've gained more knowledge from the guys here like me that have a classic jet boat with the typical berk, dominator, or jacuzzi jet pumps and a big block with a few mods. I feel more comfortable here than I did at other sites where the majority own half mil 40ft offshore boats.

Yea, im really not into those bigger, high dollar boats either..
You're right something about these old classics.. kinda like American muscle cars (late 60's - early 70's)
They're just cooler. Maybe its just our generation.. ;D

welcome, there are a few of us from long beach ;D let us know if we can help

Thanks for the offer.!
When im ready to bring it back down from Sac (near the end of the year), I will be sure to hit up all the locals to see whats crackin.!!
I know one thing i'll be looking for is a tandem trailer.
I'll know more of what it needs once i get it out on the water for the 1st time. (Folsom next weekend, Aug 21st-23rd)

I've been to Folsom Lake and the Sac river in my jet boat. Good times.

I just hope there will be some water left, & that my boat floats. lol
