This is the website--->> http://www.uscgboating.org/recalls/mic_database.htm (http://www.uscgboating.org/recalls/mic_database.htm)

It will only help you with the manufacturer. For the year, it should be the last 2 numbers in the HIN.

My Cali Reg. had two errors on it, one number missing and one incorrect. The guy I got it from hasd had it Reg'd under that number since new, 1982. When I rereg'd here they just said , "Oh, a mistake" and fixed it. In Nevada we Reg. boats w/ fish and wildlife, not DMV so it's just a couple chicks at an office who dont get into fucing w/ you.

Had the same issue with my jet ski and my 21 foot daycruiser...all they said bring it down for inspection...they mesured it with a tape and recorded the hin and was good to go! However the tahiti was a different issue, but thanks to skip no issue now! This issue for you challenger should be an easy one if not reg it in nevada for a year then move the title...nv and az are probably the easiest 2 states

None of mine ever even required an inpection. Just went there with the bill of sale or the old reg, transfered it over, 35 bucks later, I got regs and stickers. Arizona also does NOT title watercraft. 2 of my boats are from Cali and I still have the Cali titles for them JIC.

Still have the Cali stickers on the Moo, need to order or have Brad make some cool AZ ones like the Moo has now, not putting Mailbox letters on it.

Ray the numbers on my boat came from this web site. i think they are a great deal at $40.00 for the set several fonts and colors to chose from
3dlettering.com
