I guess focusing on high dollar power boats that most people cant afford didnt quite fit the niche. Maybe the measley 3 pages of jet boats at the end of the magazine was not important enough for them to print. Its sad that the boats that the common folk can afford was not the focus of their attention. Congratulations So Cal Jet Boats, Now would be the time to start a magazine geared towards regular beer drinking boaters.

Dude, nice!

You got my attention, is a paper magazine really the way to go these days?, I keep wondering about this, I can't help but think with the way the economy is and the tree huggers all up in your grille that it would be more work than it's worth, How about an online subscribable magazine with a print freindly format? Just throwin it out there....Welcome aboard, nice first post  ;)

AAAHHHHHHH yes .
The yearly talk of starting up a rag geared towards people who almost exclusively by second hande parts .
Not to mention that the 18' boat mfg arena is almost exclusively popping out "hulls only" and then rigging your boat at home with your old/new parts .
Dont get me wrong , I think thats the way it should be .
Having to pay 10k + for a hull is really hard to swallow for lots of folks and a huge undertaking to rig , correctly .

Boat Trader now gone too.    Its a new world peeps.     Even B of A that was just forced to buy a competitor by the govt. is now saying they are in deep trouble.   Invest in alcohol and firearms people!!!

Well i think that hot boat forgot wher real hot boats came frome they got lost in the off shore market. THE REAL HOT BOATS ARE IN THE JET BOAT MARKET. (Sorry that is how I grew up around boating)

Well nobody learned much since Performance Boats is catering to the same crowd as HB. I don't know that PB has even 3 pages on hotrods, does it?
