Title: How Stupid Can I be??

I had about 4 gall. of old fuel.... Decided to add it to my SS El Camino as I  did not know how to dispose of the fuel.

Fkn. sht. fowled out  my whole fuel system.....and Ign.   Stupid is ... as stupid does...  Bad choice, DUH :thumbdown:

You Dumbass, did ya use the fuel from those ski tanks ???

Seems there's been a rash of "old fuel dumbassedness" lately. If it's not in a mostly full, SEALED container, fuel is good for about 90 days. You of all people should know this Dave, sheesh!

We used to mix older gas with Race fuel (new) and burn it at 50/50 ratio. worked OK, also a little methonol will clean things up enough to burn and will absorb water like a MOFO  O0.

I am all about the backyard shade tree fix........ :thumbup:

BTW, no more of a dumbass than anyone else here................Including but not limited to myself ;D
