I have had my omega for sale for a few weeks. Took it out right before I listed it and noticed carb had a sputter. Had it rebuilt. While waiting for the Carb to get rebuilt I was dicking with shit. flush attachment. Pulled it off to lengthen it cause it was hard to get to realized I didn't have any hose so I left it until I got longer hose....a week goes byand carb comes back and gets installed. Started right up for quik second and figured all is good. Get a guy that is interested in the boat but wants to run it at elcap to be sure it's as solid as I claim. He backs me down the ramp and it starts right up with a bit of a high idle. As I'm waiting for him I notice water is coming out from the engine cove. I pitch it to the nearest beach. And realize the flush hose disconnected. Damn!. He is cool and seems like he is not to bothered by it. Even helped me bail out the water when we realized the bilge pump took a crap.( I promised a new one if he was still interested.) he was o.k. With putting it back on the trailer to get all the water out. So round 2. Launch went good messed with idle,Checked hoses etc.all looked good. realized I forgot to put the return spring on throttle. He and his wife jump in for a quik ride. I'm idling out explaining operation and stuff. Get out of no wake zone and roll into the throttle. As I do his wife is wondering where to put her purse cause of all the water. I damn near shit when I saw all the water..AGAIN! Pissed off some fisherman as I hauled in to the nearest beach once again. Only to find this time the hose blew off cause my dumbass forgot to tighten the hose clamp. :banghead: at this point I can tell his wife was over it. And the ranger was on his way .he was cool set us up with bailing equip. As our Mickey d cup from earlier was quite soggy. He gave her a ride back and we bailed all the water out.apparantly we knocked some wires loose bailing so now she won't start.. :mad: this boat has never given me a single issue. So now we end up getting a tow, back on the trailer, drop off his wife, go back to my house, grab tools, extra battery,cables,and beer,back to elcap. Fixed the loose wiring,double triple check everything. And run the boat. Finally no issues. He bought it! :screwy: ;D took me all friggin day. And homie was cool about all of it.

Sometimes that is just the way it goes...
Too funny.
Years ago I was selling our Jeep Cherokee limited. It was a nice rig but the wife hated it. So a guy was interested and wanted to take it for a test drive. We go to get on the freeway and poof, radiator hose blows apart and we are stuck on the shoulder of the freeway.
I call my wife to bring my truck so we can get things going and guess what? I had both sets of truck keys in my pocket.... DOH!!
After getting ahold of my dad, we get him back home, I get the Jeep back home, new heater hose (aluminum manifold like POS) new anti freeze, get it all cleaned up and the dude called me back and asked if it was still for sale... He bought it. :o
I guess it was just its way of telling you it didn't want to go, I like to think of it as a last FU...
Glad yours worked out in the end too...

ur not the only DA;
few years ago bought a brand new travel trailer, (used 6 times in 2 years) last trip out; rained 5 days straight, site next to us having daily full-out domestic disputes, awning breaks when retracting. why are we camping anyways ... we live in the country?
fast forward....nice couple decide to buy said trailer, 30min. before they show up to complete deal I go out to remove my trailer plate, it's got a flat tire (I'll add some air), No...sidewall is completely shot (Canadian winters) and so is the one beside it :banghead:
couple show up, trailer jacked-up, one rotten tire on the ground, spare in my hands and while I'm at it they might as well see the other one that needs replacement . f@ckin embarrassing
I'm waiting for the " shouldn't we adjust the price " but it never comes......guess the price was right
