A friend of mine bought a flattie v-drive with no trailer, picked up the boat with a trailer for a jet, "engineered (term used loosely) how to convert it to a v-drive trailer, had another mutual friend weld it up, trailered the boat for maybe 20 minutes, and the welds broke on the trailer. :-\
So tonight I rewelded all of the broken welds, added more welds to that, added more metal, welded the additional metal, made it uglier than sin, and made it (hopefully) stronger than an ox.
It won't let me post my really crappy pics. :'(
