Post by: zudnic on April 21, 2009, 01:58:01 PM: When I bought mine the ad said 68+ mph. SBC 350 --marlin boat (I'll find pics), bow fuel cell 15 gal. Quarter tank fuel and 2 adults ran 58 mph GPS on dead calm 100+ degree day. Eventually I want to drop in a ZZ383/425 hp advertised by GM crate engine. And move fuel to side tanks--realistic I'll expect that 68+ mph on GPS. If I was going to sell Id advertise it as is 60+mph............. Same applies with car manufactures and HP figures, always knock a few number off on the minus side for realistic numbers.
