I had to buy a 5" cat for mine a while back and after a ridiculous amount of searching and crying over the insanely over priced cats I called a local dealer here and got mine for under $250. Call mike at the Superduty Shop 702-451-3155. I do not know him personally, so this was his regular price a year or so ago.

You can borrow the one off mine, or just swap your exhaust for mine!  >:D

I don't have smog checks here......

You can do what I planned on doing before I found out my truck was a none cat truck.. Go to a muffler shop and get any used cat and hollow it out. Its just a visual inspection. My brother did it on his 02 duramax and it passed with no problems at all. Think the shop charged him 50 bucks for the everything.

it is easier to just get a cat and make a removable pipe. driling out a cat is not fun. its a mess and a pain in the ass.

From a legal standpoint, wrecking yards are not supposed to "sell" cats or fuel tanks.....Just an FYI... ;)
