Title: If you have a dog read this
Post by: 5oclocksomewhere on July 19, 2016, 08:58:55 PM
So as some of you may know our 11 1/2 year old lab got sick a week before Mother's Day AVI trip which is why we weren't able to make it to the event. She wouldn't eat and started throwing up. My wife took here to the vet and over a course of a few days of testing they came to the conclusion she had two large masses in her chest that were some form of cancer. They said there is nothing you can do at this point other than make here comfortable and she will just decline and we will have to bring her in to be put down. Obviously we were devastated! My cousins told me about a judge she works for that is giving his sick dog Cannapet and Carnavora and his dog is acting like a puppy again. Anybody who knows me knows I'm the biggest anti drug guy on the planet. I told my cousin thanks but no thanks I love my dog by I'm not going to jail over her. He told me no it is perfectly legal and they have a website. So reluctantly but right away we checked it out. We said what the heck we have everything to gain and nothing to lose so we overnights the heaviest strength for pets in crisis. We had it the next day. Sara still hadn't ate, within 24 hours of giving her the Cannapet her appetite returned with a vengeance and she acted like a puppy again. Long story short we got to have our beloved Sara for another 2 1/2 months. She was doing great but last week started showing decline. We dropped her off at grandmas house on Wednesday and started our Laughlin vacation. Thursday morning grandma called and said she still hadn't ate and wouldn't get up now and she felt it was time. We loaded up the family that morning head to Prescott. Sure enough we got to grandmas and she wouldn't get up or eat anything so we spent a couple hours with her then took her to the Vet for the hardest decision i have ever had to make in my life so far. So I want everyone to know about Cannapet & Carnavora. It may not cure your pet but it will at least give you some extra quality time with your beloved pet and you can at least try to prepare yourself for the inevitable. Hope this helps anyone with a sick pet.

We love you and miss you Sara....

Oh man.

What I would have given to just have a few more days with my butt head J.C. I'm a baby when it comes to the fur babies.

Thank you for this information.

So sorry for your loss. She looks so familiar...

This was her last day with us here on earth, she is waiting at the Rainbow Bridge.... No doubt with at least four tennis balls in her mouth.

I feel your pain Mark.
I was just talking to my older sister yesterday about this.
50 years ago at the age of 16 I was with our 16 year old Boxer, Maximillian the Great the Third, when we had to make that decision.
My dad showed Max for a while.  He was the most beautiful Boxer I have ever seen and my best friend growing up.
I have never personally owned a dog since that sad day.

Mark,
We will be at the River house this weekend.  Give me a call if you are at the Willow pad.

Thanks everyone. I hope this info helps y'all. The Canna-pet works also for hip dysplasia and all sort of other ailments that animals get.

Dave we will be out there the weekend after next we would love to see you guys.

Keith how long has your dog been gone?
We sure hate being home right now without her here but can't even begin to think about another dog.

Been giving a 16year old lab/pit mix the liquid drops every day for awhile now. Has kept her in a good state for a soon decision.

It's amazing what it does for them.

We had three large dogs at the time, two years ago it was time for our black lab and last year was time for our Australian/lab mix.  We are now down to our stray that found us several years ago.  After having several dogs and now down to just one for the last year, we're thinking it's time to start looking for another.

It took Joey (our stray) a few days to realize he was the lone dog and and a few weeks before he stopped looking like he was moping around.

We only lasted about 14 months without a dog... I got a Plott Hound from a friend... He is so cool, he definitely filled a huge hole.
