Title: installing nav lights?
Post by: radical faith on January 24, 2014, 08:09:43 AM: I need to install the navigation lights in the bow of my southwind. There is a bulk head under the dash with speakers and amps mounted on it. If I drop that bulk head will I be able to crawl in there to get at the bow to run the wires?

Post by: 75 fantasy on January 24, 2014, 08:15:36 AM: A couple of questions, do you have a bow gas tank? If yes you'll have to remove it too. can you tell if the bulkhead removable? Is there an bow access hole, if yes get a kid to go in for you(it gets real tight). Pics would help better figure this out for ya.

Post by: Your Mom on January 24, 2014, 08:28:31 AM: I use suction style lights... no holes. Just keep em under seat for the just in case. Got both of mine (front/rear) at walmart and the base has provisions for vertical/horizontal.

I'm gonna pull the seats out so I can get at the bulk head and get a good look I'll take some good pics then. Do those suction cup deals stay in place when you bouncing around? Have you seen the launch ramp at 10 minutes till sunset? I'm still on the water :thumbup: Been on the river till nearly midnite, MORE than once (Lazy Harry's fault ;) )

Or the 5 am glass to enjoy!

then you realize the water level dropped and you cant get the boat on the trailer. :banghead:
