Get a Pellet gun!
Illegal (sp)

I'll send Moo over there for a week or so, problem will be solved. She kills 5 to 6 pidgeons a week. Her personal best was 9. (Gets to be a pain cleaning up the dead birds behind her!) ASPCA can't touch you that way, lol.

when i lived in santa ana....they would flock in the morning and afternoon....asked the neighbors, they said theres a guy who raises them like homing pigeons in the area.....ive seen flocks all over socal since then....i think they get away from home and breed like rabbits.

...just wound 'em. Long Beach is full of 'em They are worse than pigeons

From my understanding is a pet shop caught fire and they released the birds and they have adapted to the enviornment...this is what a family member told me...could be a myth
-
Sounds reasonable, but really more than likely they are propegating further north from Mexico, much like some of the Mexican Big cats are.

If you cant use a pellet gun (my first choice), how about some tainted bird seed.

prestone or presto

Kamakazi actually means heavenly wind or god wind.
I think you mean these are just plain old dive bombing pieces of sh t.
-
You mean green parrots like these noisy bastards? Picture isn't the best but there is about 10 on these wires.
They squawk and leave a friggin mess everywhere. Pain in da @ss is what they are!!
-
Good cylinder bore choke with some #4 shot would prolly get all of them in that picture!

Buy the biggest fake rubber snake you can find and hang it from the same wires/branches that they hang out on.
Or, depending on your lifestyle choices, maybe you have some large sex toys that will do the trick... :sly:

ALKA SELZER (sp) lots of it. break it up like bird feed

We used to have a shit ton of them here in chino hills. One day they were just gone I don't know if they headed out or if someone took care of em. Now I have homing pigeons to deal with... I don't understand the hobby in raising birds but my neighbors sure do...
Funny story about pigeons from when I was in high school. I had a 73 bronco for my first car. So I was cruizing the bronco around the neighborhood and came up on a whole flock of pigeons in the street, I expected the fukkers to take of well they just stood there, I must have killed 15 - 20 of those shit heads. Turns out that they were homing birds that wernt quite ready so they clip there wings and had gotten out of there pen ( so I got from the mexican that spoke very poor english yelling at me) I was picking bird guts and feathers out from the undercarraige up until the day I got rid of that thing. Funny thing was my mom and step dad ended up with the bronco and he did a full restore on it. I get a call from him asking why the hell are there bird feathers all over the place. ahh memories
-
They are quaker parrots. they get loose.
-
uncooked rice works same principal as alka seltzer, but cheaper.
-
I have a flock of about 45 to 50 of them that fly over my house everyday at 4:30 on the dot! I think the fukkers have watches on or something. :screwy:
-
I rember when I was just a little guy in Van Nuys when Busch Gardens closed they let all the birds go in the hood they were everywhere :D
-
firecrackers will scare them off prolly
-
firecrackers will scare them off prolly
good thinking you could get one of those small guns farmers use to scare the birds you can get them at a feed store
-
WOW SMALL WORLD! I just noticed a flock of them in the tree outside my home and I am in Austin, texas
-
That's funny, they came back today....Crapping on everything...all over front yard in trees :sly:

I believe that is true, somewhere in the Arcadia area or something. I recall all the flocks of them around there when I was younger. More recently some were hanging out around my house in Glendora, but only for a week or so.
-
They are awful little mean buggers! I AM BETTING PEOPLE LET THEM GO.
-
THE FOCKER'S ARE BACK !! >:(
-
Dave,
When I lived in Fullerton there was a flock of them, probably 100+. They'd fly around my neighborhood every afternoon, I thought it was cool. Then one day, they picked my tree in the front yard to stop and take a breather in, suddenly they weren't so cool.
-
Yaaaa.....They chose to do the same here :sly:
-
lol wow, this brings back memories. Back in the day when my grandma used to live in sierra madre they were all over so I asked her why there were soo many, and she said that back in the 60's or 70's i think it was, there was a big ass petstore in pasadena and they had a big ass aviary there too, they had all sorts of exotic birds and animals because this was before the govt started to make non native spicies illegal to import. Anyway one night I guess the place caught fire and when the firemen got there and rescued a bunch of the animals but they set all the birds loose, and those parrots took up residence here and adapted because our climate is similar to where they are from, and since then they are all over. lol and if you need a big ass snake like sex toy ask omar, lol I think he has a 12 inch black rubber fist :-D >:D
