For those of you who are 40+ years old - you might enjoy reading this thread on the HAMB. My feeling is that the original poster must be a younger guy and he was asking a legit question. He had an old hotrod he was starting to work on and it had some "strange" (to him) hardware on the rear suspension.
Anyway he made this perfectly innocent post on the HAMB and it quickly took on a life of its own - gathering almost 200 replies in about 2-3 days. I especially liked the side thread that got going over the photo of the car from "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot". Enjoy 8)

boy does that bring back memories=68 roadrunner-jacked alittle in back-cragers-air shocks-got arrested on whittier blvd for curfew violation=just got on the strip for a cruise went up to end and coming back=cops stopped traffic and pulled my car out of the line-said this is the 7th time he has seen this car up and down the street-i told him i just got here and i am on my way home-had two kids in the car 9 and 11 years old and their sister who was 18 and a 21 year old -i was 17 and my wife was 17 =cops took both of us and the two kids to jail-what a night
