Thanks for the heads up , if its the Nordic I'm thinking of the motors been "out" for  for about 5 seasons and he (Ronnie) and his pops have had it apart themselves Tom

probaly was contaminated with white powdery substance too!

This was what i posted on PB

426 Hallet re the Nordic: For the record the original 427 motor for Ronnie was built by us 7/04 (over 4 years ago) for a beat up Woodbridge jet that he had "scattered", a year or so later he ask us to swap it (the motor) into the Nordic flat (with a pan change only) The motor has been thoroughly "used" over the years and we have knowledge that its has been apart since by your seller . Its unfortunate that he appears to have been less than honest with you . We haven't seen the boat or motor in over 3 years . Call if we can help you in any way Tom

BTW if you would like a copy of the original invoice (without personal info) I'll have it sent to you

76 I can understand why the guys frustrated by dont understand why anyone would buy a vehicle that had a "dead miss" and take the sellers word for it "that it needed a tune up" ? Anyhow this is what he finally said :

Too cool, ya handled it very well, i'm impressed. You couldve gone for the throat and you didnt. I totally agree with your statement about the major miss and calling it a need of a tune up. That is ASSNINE!!!!! :screwy: I wouldnt buy anything that was missing that bad and the dude was telling me all it needed is a tune up. Just plain DUMBFRUCK.  Cheers to ya Tom       Mark
