LMAO, I have not done that in quite a few years, but I can remember years ago some of the youngsters in the neighborhood rolling by to make sure I was OK, laughing their asses off.
My garage has always been open to the neighborhood kids for air for the bikes or whatever else they needed that their fathers or mothers could not provide.
Now most of the kids are in college or have jobs and I'm happy if they have the time to wave to me when they drive by to visit their parents or grandparents.  Some stop to say hello sometimes.
Hopefully I made a positive influence in some of their lives.
Whitey isn't always bad.

Same here, and same with the neighbors! All my water ski's came from them (Neighbor across from me in the Cul De Sac is a retired pro ski'er). He even gave me the ski racks that I never installed on Moo, maybe they'll go on the Yellow Submarine, who knows. I gotta get that thing done, it's killing me, lol.

Dave, you make a positive influence everywhere you go. My kids adore you, I adore you, as well as make fun of you, as you do I. It's a win win just even having MET you.

Thank you for the kind words Ray.  I'm still just a kid at heart, maybe that it is why I still connect with the youngsters.
You have done a good job raising your kids.  They are very respectful and a pleasure to be around.
Now if you would show me the same respect as your kids do.  ::)  Just kidding Ray.  I look forward to seeing you all soon.
Bring it Ray, the Hallett is up for the challenge.  ;) Hope to see you soon.
I am Thee Hallett Dave and I approve this message. :)

You know what Dave? As I think about it, you are RIGHT! I DON'T show the respect my kids do......and I'm ashamed!

ONLY a true friend would tell you that!

I've launched your boat, recovered it, and Mostly been Boost that has done the same with mine when I was solo. But it makes me really really look within what it is that glues us all together?

What it amounts to, we all became Friends. Internet, whatever, we all became FRIENDS!

Would we have ever known each other otherwise?

Ah no no no.  Rtard comes flying in and says "Hey you guys are animal lovers right?"  Dave looks at me and I looked at him.  We are both instantly thinking the same thing.  Just what kind of trouble is an affirmative response gonna get us in?  With some hesitation we both sheepishly said yes.  YOU my friend just jumped right in with both feet, without even a moment's concern over just who it was that was asking the question.

Good on you!
