found this site along time ago and it was dead. went on a few nights ago and bingo gold mine!!! there is other weirdos like me. cant wait to get pics up. a freind of mine got me in contact with jim brock of cyclone and hes all over here, with the punk rock jonny cash photo. doin a pump rebuild really soon after i get the problem with my mill worked out. will have pics of it all soon. picked up a new float 2 years ago time to go through it. cant figure out what it is though, says jem craft which means SOUTHWIND but doesnt look like any southie ive seen. looks like bubble deck eliminator, nice boat though all orig gel with bitchen wood grain inlay over whole front of deck. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) talk to you dudes soon

Lol Ignore Chromey on this one, beerjet's a gem ( A pervert, yes, but still a diamond in the rough and great guy), as is everyone else on this site. get some pics up, thats a prerequisite. I think you'll find everyones knowledge and willingness to share second to none. From Paul at High flow dynamics, Ralph at Cyclone, to Tom at JBP, you're covered on the professional side. From a DIY side, lord I cannot even name the names, there's too many.
As far as your boat, Southwind made the Jemcrafts, no?

went to jims shop today to meet the fella, and ended up in school. its amazing how much you think you know till ya talk to someone that actually knows what they are talking about. ran the numbers on the hull turns out shes a 78 CHARGER. pics coming today promise. no motor in it yet shortblock should be done next week then its off to cyclone for pump work. thanks for the support.

That's a good looking boat, it's nice to go to Jim's and just pick his brain, he's definitely forgotten more about jet boats than I will ever learn, the cool thing is he'll take the time to help you understand what he's teaching you. Gotta love that old grump ;D
