verizon users need to *228 at least once a month and/or everytime you are in a bad service or no service area to reboot your phone. I have had verizon since it was airtouch and they still are the # 1 cell provider except for the cost. Mercury retrograde will also effect all satellite communication.

If Verizon was the last cell provider on Earth I'd start using smoke signals.

I had T-mobile for years and it was good no dropped calls ever but no service in the desert and certain places. So recently went to ATT and they drop calls all the time  :banghead: but service in more places.

Not sure on Verizon why don't you ask all those people that follow you around for help LOL  ;D

I am with At&t and wouldn't buy a forking Iphone to save my life but I also wouldn't switch service either. I have been with them for a long time and have had great luck with their service. My phone works at Dumont, Armagosa, Glamis, Ocotillo and on Lake Mead (it also worked well in Ireland and Mexico without upgrading my service). How could I complain... with the exception of my occaisional bad choice in phone manufacturer LG & Samsuck BLOW!!!

I, at one point or another, have had ALL of them.

AT&T was probably the worst I have had but that was 10 years ago.  I have had Verizon for 9 years and did the "Try it for 30 days" from Sprint, Nextel (before it was Sprint) and T Mobile.  All of them sucked.

I hate Verizon's customer service but find that they provide the best service throughout the US.  I travel for work about every other week and my Verizon service has been great, everywhere from Iowa, Alabama, Arkansas, New Jersey, New York and all up and down the California coast.

I will say to stay away from the HTC phones.  I switched from a BlackBerry to the HTC Ozone (Windows Mobile) phone about 18 months ago and it has been the worst phone I have ever had.  My Droid 2 will be delivered today and I am VERY anxious!

This topic seems to be like the never ending Ford, Chevy, Dodge debate. What works well for one does not always work well for another. It's my experience that in all cases, one should try everything and use what works best for them.

Dodge ended the Superior Engine debate in the mid-60's.   NASCAR sanctioned them up the wazoo but the damage was done and a new king reigned on the streets.  Their design and innovation continued to dominate NHRA for decades.   Ford and GM just never quit whining.
But in this century the modern small blocks from all three are really engineering marvels.  With nothing more than cams and blowers 800+ hp AND reliability is possible and reasonably priced.

Having retailed and had, virtually every phone and service in the world. I have to say that my service with T-Mobile (Save for the issues about a year and a half ago when the service was in my wifes name........WHAT AN ABORTION!!!!), and my Blackberry have been good to me. Through no fault of anyone but me, I'm on Blackberry #6 (Still have 2 at the bottom of Saguaro lake), I have beat the snot out of them, and have features I'll still never use.

Only bad part is the Tapatalk system just simply will NOT freakin work on this site for me.......

What yanks my chain is that if you want a decent phone now you have to pay 10 bucks to 30 bucks a month more just because your phone  gets 3g and connects to internet. Big whoop.  If I want to go o n the internet I will wait to use my home computer with a screen I can see and not my phone.   I am sure all carriers are going to this also just to suck a few more bucks out of ya.  :banghead:
