No advice about the motor, but find a good hull and transfer all the good parts over. If I remember right you have a decent motor in that thing.

Thanks Jordan I sent a text millers I think are very pretty boats.

Daniel the wood behind the dash (crossmember?) needs to be re tabbed to the hull (the capping on the hull shows cracking where the boat flex at that point. In of the right stinger where subfloor meets the hull shows a nice crack where to much horse power twisted the hull, then the biggest problem is the po when installing intake n shoe measured n wrong installed wrong so the ride plate would not sit at a good angle instead of shimming it they ground trough the bottom of the hull along with the transom adapter to
install the ride plate. When I bought the new pump we found that and fill the hull gap with the epoxy used the set a pump so the hull didn't leak (not the best repair but it worked). Also the hull has a big hook in the bottom and she runs just shy or at 80mph. I've come across a few boats that I've liked and I've could've sold parts in them and my whole recoup most my money but I'm saving for a house I 17 K saved I need 13 more and I can buy a house also Nevada had good grants for homes here so right now I don't know if I want to buy something or just take the time and slowly fix what I got but I would like a full stringer boat I know you don't need one till over 600 horse but I built my motor right at the limit of being able to bolts on a blower so I have room to add way more horse I'm only at like 470 right now I have a brand-new pump JG with an inducer all my cables are new my motor has about 10 hours my place diverter is all new new cylinder new pump I just don't know what I want to do so I just want to keep my motor in good shape till I figure it out the easiest thing to do would be to just repair what I have pulled these tanks see if I can get them repaired but the Tahiti is not really the boat I want to have forever I want to build that boat you know what I mean.

If I want a good bottom not a pig in 18-19 foot range what do you guys think is a good hull

That Miller posted earlier is a solid hull. (Biased)
Eliminator is always good, too (also biased)
All depends on how straight the bottom is. Stringer condition, what pump its set-up for, etc.
