Happens every holiday weekend, sad but true . That’s why I don’t go on holidays anymore. Just not safe anymore

I’m the same way.  I see it all the time in the dunes too.  I have more fun on the off weekends.  Stopped going on big weekends a couple years ago.

I stayed home this weekend,  I usually go out and don't put my boat in the water till Monday,  just to many people even at big river where I go,  I got hit with this story this morning as well..  Sad deal,  also why we don't boat at night!!  Bad decisions make for really bad accidents,

They said one of the boats didnt have their lights on. All bad knowing how dark the river is after sundown. We were just at the Avi the weekend before and you cannot see anything past the bridge after sundown.
