anyone ever take there jet boats out there??? dont see anything on here about it.
its the closest lake to me so it would be cool to have some jet boat guys get together out there if its a good spot to go.

During the week, you're ok there. Weekends, FORGET IT! We call it Lake Un-Pleasant locally for many reasons. Nothing but wake barges and off-shore power boats, causing "The Deadliest Catch" style swells. I think OldMX has a horror story or two from there recently with his 21'.
Other lakes around are more small jet boat friendly. Bartlett and Apache among the best. Saguaro is good, but gets pretty rough at times but can still at least navigate and get a blast or two in. Canyon is a great lake, but my nerves are shot from even getting to it trailering a boat to enjoy it much. Then there's the river......can't beat the river.......beleive me! ;)

Has anyone ever heard of lake mary near Flagstaff? I have seen a few boats there during the week but dont go by there much and wondered if it was a decent small lake in Northern Az. Just wondering. I wish pleasent was plaesent but any ass with anything that floats is out there and too bad cause its only 25 min. away. I have been out there during the week and only see 3 boats all day but there could be no wind anywhere else but it can get very windy across the middle of it.

Pleasant sucks, plain and simple. I will not even take my 26' out there. To many ass hats that have no clue. As Ray said, Bartlett and Apache are the way to go, well worth the drive.
Lake Mary looks pretty cool, we have been by there and seen people skiing on it, looks small, not sure of the depth and I know it varies greatly with the season changes and rain fall. You might want to check with either game and fish or the forest service to verify the stipulations on the lake. If jets are allowed it would be a bitchen place to hang out at when it is 115-120 in phoenix.

I know pleasent is out of the question. Thats what I was thinking of about Mary, Nice and cool in the summer and to hang out and camp. I will find out and let everyone know. O0
Bartlet ans saguaro are good too but can get kind busy on weekends and I have seen them shut down saguaro due to too many boats, if one comes out then they let one on, sometimes for bartlett also lined up the hill a few miles waiting to get on. :sly:

Lake mary is only 15 minutes from my house.. a jet boat would be fine on there. we have taken my brothers bahner there no problems.. probley the smoothest water you will find on a weekend..

That would be awesome...I did not konw if they would want us squirt boats out there and the sweet sound of big blocks running up and down.

lake mary would be sweet. thats even closer than pleasant to me. so maybe ill have to take a ride up there and check it out next week.

ill definatly take some pics and let you guys that havnt seen it check it out via internet...im pretty exited to know that theres a spot to run the boat closer to my thn i thought!! :thumbup:

Cool. I like pic's. I know its kinda small and I dont know how busy it gets. Zoomies would be great among the pine trees and all of God's creatures. >:D
