Title: Launch Ramp in Topock?
Post by: gqchris on September 17, 2008, 07:27:47 PM: Hey Guys,
has anyone launched before at Topock? I want to meet some friends up at the Sandbar this weekend but dont want to get the weed curse like i got at Moabi last month. From the looks of this google earth shot, looks like a launch ramp. But it also looks like seaweed city! Any suggestions?

Just launch at moabi from the penisula.

Just launch at moabi from the penisula.
Thats where i will be launching this weekend..

I dont think I can float my boat deep enough on that ramp and still get my Expedition out of the water. :(

On our day cruiser floating with the back tires barely in the water..

If that is still not an option. Than Jack Smith or needles marina.
Or i can always pull you out. With the Chevy >:D

The only time you will have probs is when they let the water level get real low. Then you need to go to the ramp
