Good choice . You might still be able to find some old caps between now and then . I have a freind that works over at hallett and he says that Nick Barron saves everything , I guess he's got alot of really old stuff that never got tossed . Maybe hook up with someone over there via e-mail . You might get lucky .

Ok guys...I counted only 9 boats on this thread. There are 80 members here so 71 of you are holding back. Being that most of us are So cal Boaters and have limited lakes, the odds are pretty good that we will all run into each other at one time or another. I personally would like to recognize the boats as being from here. Plus I really like to seeing pics of real world hot rod boats and NOT the big barges that flood the pages of our favorite magazine(s).
Being that it's winter time, post pics of projects as well.
 :) Don't be shy!!! Here's a few more.

Taco'd "a person or people that show up with one lake lice and a family of 50 and cram 3 people at a time on it with no disregard to boating rules or ethics. Usualy crap in toilets and throw shit paper in trash cans. Hang out at the boat ramp like its a swimming hole. Have zero insurance on anything they own and dont give two shits less about your property."

I will post some pics of my boat if I ever get it back from the painters. ( got a great price but he will finish it when he has time kinda thing) I'm certain I will need help figuring out the electrical.  This boat is a big project I got myself into, and Jet Boat Performance has delivered a lot of great tech advise and parts already.  I'll start a project post when I get it back. I post some of when I bought it but I cant figure out how to post pics :-[
