Subject: let me tell you about my weekend
An older, white haired man walked into a jewelry store one Friday
evening with a beautiful young gal at his side.
He told the jeweler he was looking for a special ring for his
girlfriend.
The jeweler looked through his stock and brought out a $5,000 ring. The
old man said, "No, I'd like to see something more special."
At that statement, the jeweler went to his special stock and brought
another ring over. "Here's a stunning ring at only $40,000" the jeweler
said.
The young lady's eyes sparkled and her whole body trembled with
excitement. The old man seeing this said, "We'll take it."
The jeweler asked how payment would be made and the old man stated, "by
check. I know you need to make sure my check is good, so I'll write it
now and you can call the bank Monday to verify the funds and I'll pick
the ring up Monday afternoon," he said.
Monday morning, the jeweler phoned the old man. "There's no money in
that account."
"I know," said the old man, "But let me tell you about my weekend!

Here is some advice to the young ones out there. Appearance is everything to women. You always want to appear "romantic". If you feel the need to propose take her "browsing" a few times to see what styles she likes. Then when your IQ points are at their lowest, and you actually are going to pop the question go by yourself and buy the ring ahead of time to surprise her with. BUT be sure you have the biggest, best, FAKE diamond you can afford put in. She will never know the difference, she will get to impress all her friends, she will love you to death, AND when you get divorced and she goes to have it appraised, you will have revenge like you never dreamed of. You just need to have it cleaned more often so it always looks its best.
Downside is that if she ever has it appraised your're in deep, but you can always ask her why she felf the need to have it appraised.

Live and learn baby. Actually I've been married 15 yrs (my first and only marriage) and my wife designed and paid for her own ring. I'm just telling people what to do if they are interested in protecting themselves down the road. 55% or more of marriages end in divorce and if yours does it sux to be the guy.

just tell her to spend the same on your ring as you spend on her's, and if she wont she aint the one
