Title: LIVING ON A HOUSEBOAT

I just found this video on youtube. The houseboat with the blue canvas is the boat my wife and I lived on for a few years.  This video is being shot from my neighbor.  This was a wind storm in the middle of the winter on Lake Lanier, GA.  Winds were clocked at my marina at 65mph and it lasted for about 10 hours.  It was also snowing, we could not leave the boat becasue the dock had about 1 1/2 inches of ice in it.  Enjoy

I normally don't get seasick but I'm feeling green after just watching that  :o

I think I saw someone on your boat blowin' chunks over the back railing.  That was some ride.

That was pretty bad... Just how big is that lake?

its pretty big, i has some record for square mileage of shoreline or some shit like that.  The problem was, in front of my boat and in front of the wall you see, there is about 15 miles of wide open water facing due west and that is the direction the wind always comes.  If the water level had been higher the wall would have stopped most of the big sweells, but as you can see in the video we were in a drought then and now.....i gotta move!!!
