Dude I totally feel ya.  I've been battling with my 9 yr old for two days.  His lack of effort getting a project done has got Momma yelling at everyone in the family.  Ruined what started out as a great weekend.

And you probably need to tell your wife to grow some balls and demand respect from her daughter.  She needs to be a parent, not a door mat.  A 10 yr old using the F word?  Unacceptable in any circumstances.  Using it on her mother?  At my house she would be sleeping on the floor and eating nothing but peanut butter sandwiches 3 times a day for the next two months IF I was there to stop my wife from beating the crap outta said daughter.  Sorry if I'm outta line, but I think you probably get what I'm saying.  Easier to control them now than when they turn 12 or 13.

If she were my blood there would of been a whooping. But there are lines I cant cross. So after she slammed the door in my face I took it off the hinges and shut the power off to her room. No tv no light and good night. Tomorrow will be interesting for sure when I wake her up at 430 to clean her room.

So my 9 yr old's teacher found all kinds of proofreading errors in yesterday's work.  He was up until 10:15 re-writing stuff he half assed yesterday, in addition to spending nearly 3 hours to finish his other homework.  He used to breeze through this stuff but all of a sudden "he can't concentrate".  Poor little dude was dog tired when he finally finished tonight.  I sure hope this phase doesn't last long cuz its kicking my ass too.
How did the little lady enjoy her night and morning SoCalPSD?    My wife drops F bombs every couple of minutes, and it pisses me off royally, but my kids know they better not ever use any of the language Mom uses.  I can't imagine hearing that word come out of a girl that young.  I might very well have resorted to soap in the mouth.  I got in trouble for using the phrase "shut up" when I was her age.
