So my little brother and his friend basically stumbled upon what looks like a gem. It's a 1977 21' Galaxie. It has a 460 with a berkeley, full stinger, OT twisty bassest headers, interior looks perfect, boat looks flawless...
No questions, it hasn't been touched in 5 years. It is currently register and tagged just hasn't moved form the garage. What would need to be looked at? (other than the normal: fuel tanks, water lines, fuel lines, plugs, and oil)
Is it a good hull?
How fast can we expect it to go?
Any other concerns?
Valve of boat?
Fiber gas fuel tanks?

Me too, but I can't post any from my phone... (if someone can post pictures for me I can email them)
Of and valve? What would something like this be worth?

My girlfriends family owned galaxie until the late 80s so if you find initials scratch into the boat some where its one that her dad helped build

Nice! You ever talked to him in detail about that time?
From the information I'm getting it sound like its a light lay up and they are more cheaply made. But I can't really find any info on the pre 80's hulls, or even that many for sale.

Yeah, I was able to upload like the first 2 months of the app. I think it might be me though. I have the newest app update but I'm running on iOS 5.0.1... I'm jail broken and too lazy to update. Haha
