We lost keys to my 84' vette.
Ignition keys are gone.
What is the best thing to do...Car has ATD....anti theft devise & from what I understand u can't
just replace the ignition switch....
Can u guys tell me whatta do ??? ???

If you bought the car new the origional key code will be avail at GM. If used, probably under the VIN code.
It will also be in the owners kit if it's still there...I lost three sets of keys for my '87 1/2 tone Silverado and I had new keys in 20 mins. at the dealer, they even worked :thumbup:
Not sure of the anti theft keys in '84....you sure?

Obviously you can't look at the old key, but it would have a funny looking little contact in the key body really close to the black plastic about the size of 1/2 a grain of uncooked rice..
Your fix should be cheap...
