Lunati makes a good camshaft. I know quite a few people running them in both hot rods and boats. I'm a fan of Clay Smith cams, but that's just my personal preference.

It's just a presonal preference. What really matters is being able to understand ALL the specs of the cam for the intended application. You have to realistically introduce your true  RPM Useage, and compression ratio, and intended induction, THAT is where the quagmire lay. One cam is not necissarily made better than another............I personally prefer Howards Cams or Comp Cams, for example. But it all comes down to componentry, what RPM you intend to run, what C/R you have and what induction you intend to run............

Isky is a very good name, but like an old retired person.......it all depends on depends............... ;D

We're taliking an off shelf cam, I think. Granted, Ed's company can make something truly special! But off the shelf? Depending on what you want, I think you can find something off the shelf..........say a Comp Xtreme Marine...........

Clay Smith Cams has been around the game for a loooooooooooong time. Stregal knows his shit, the billets they use for their cams is a way higher grade than any other cam mfgr out there. You can call him, tell him what engine you have, your impeller cut, your boat & what you do with it, and he'll build your cam to suit your needs.

I have a Voodoo cam in my Sanger (460) that I ordered from Summit. I ordered the bigger cam of the two that they offer and it doesnt sem much bigger than the factory one that was in it. But if you are lookinf for a good all around cam it is worth it.

Mine was stiff when working it back and forth on the trailer.
Once I got it on the water and under power, it was amazing!

i have had great luck with crower cams! and when you buy a cam you should always buy there lifters! or make sure the lifters are going to be compatible with the cam you do choose!
