Most applications I've seen will not fit on a lifted truck.

What is the application?  I can check tuesday when I get back to the shop.

2000 Ford Excursion 4x4 with a 6 inch lift in the front and blocks in the rear. I hope with the blocks in the rear I can use the air bags. I was looking at the bracket and I think I can flip it.

sell a Ford and get a chevy??? Now that's just dumb. You'd be sacrificing tow capability. That, and Chevy doesn't offer an 8-9 passenger vehicle with a diesel... PLUS Chevy has their ridiculous IFS system up front, great for comfort but nothing else on a HD truck...

My friend has bags on his SRW F-350 with a Pro-comp 6" lift on 37" tires. He's towing a 17,000 lb trailer with an ls2 funnco inside.

He said he got his bags from 4wheelparts and spent about $400. He bought an onboard compressor later on to fill on the fly. Whole system ended up around $700 with dash gauges, bags, compressor, wiring, dash mount fill controls.

If you have blocks and have not altered your leaf springs. The bags will not be effected...

God forbid you want comfort in a vehicle that you'll be spending an extended period of time in .

I would suggest that your friend weigh each axle on the truck and trailer when loaded to make sure he is not overloading the tires.

Most oversize, off-road type tires are a load range C and not desinged to carry/tow that kind of load.

He's lucky if he hasn't been the guy we see trying to change a tire on the side of the freeway.

Nitto Terra Grapplers- E rated. My friends and I may be young. But things like that tend not to escape our realm of safety consciousness...

Hmmm, added towing capacity and stability might be a good reason??
There is a reason why the Ford is rated to tow more than the rest, despite the powerstroke making less power...
