Video of the Beisemeyer burning
« on: August 17, 2009, 03:26:22 PM »
Jeremy was able to, in about 30 seconds give or take, get the strange video file format from the Biesemeyer burning converted and uploaded to UTube. Taken me 2 days to figure out how to post them, lol. But I think I got it! The first on is a long version of the incident. The second one is when it went down, but you really can't see it go down from all the steam and they quit videotaping.

Anyway, thought it might be interesting, lol. :screwy:

Burned for al good 1 1/2 hours! From what we can figure from the video, maybe longer. In between the first video and the second is a good hour when i got there with the Moo! All of that when the marina guys got there, me, the Sherrifs dept, lol, none of that is on there.

Would it be a bad idea to try to put it out..?
I mean there is nothing but water around, and you might be able to salvage the hull.?

Hull is GONE, you can see where it burned through and can see the water on the other side of the boat through the bow, lol! Told y'all it was pretty bad! Boat folded like a Taco when it sank. Only things MAYBE savable, prolly not NOW, since it's been what, 3 months? woulda been the block, heads, maybe jet drive parts and the diverter. Lol

Certainly makes an impression don't it? LMAO!

Ray

Could have been put out, maybe, if the heat source coulda been found. Sadly not, and when it burst into flames, it engulfed the whole boat, thankfully everyone was off before it hit that point, as I've said before on it, lol.

Just the Excalmation point on the previous thread on this safety matter!
