I just picked this stuff up and I'm going to do a portion of the bow to see how it looks. Im sure some of you have tried this stuff but I thought Id give it a shot and I'll be posting pics for whoever may be interested.
All right guys, do your thing!
FYI: I washed with soap and water first, so the side of the boat I didnt use the kit on is as clean as this boat looked before.

I used it on (dare I admit) a jet ski and it worked well. I used a 7" polisher where I could and did the rest by hand

That kit is worth the money. If you need the individual numbers for the polishes and waxes, not in kit form, let me know, I've become very familiar with Meguiars stuff.

Here are some pics. Not sure whether you can really tell a difference in each step of the 3 step-process in the pictures but in person you can. I have always liked Meguiar's products and did not hesitate at spending the extra money on this kit. I will be doing the entire boat later this week after I get the motor in. I'll post those pics when Im done.
The first pic is after using the Oxidation remover...I think its working..haha

Wow! That looks great! Im going to have to give that a try on my flatbottom before summer gets here and I slap the for sale sign on it. Is it a pretty fast process with the polishing ball and drill?

Yeah its a quick process although as you can see I did a small portion of the boat. I did the Oxidation with the polishing ball then wiped it with a wifebeater/rag and washed and dried the ball, 2nd the High Gloss Polish with the ball then wiped with a different wifebeater/rag and washed and dried the ball again, and 3rd with the Pure Wax with the ball and let dry to a haze and wiped with a microfiber towel. I did all this in about 20 minutes. I did a quick wash/dry of the powerball between each step.
I will say this...do not let the polish dry to a haze in the first 2 steps. The directions tell you this but this is especially true for the 2nd step with the High Gloss Polish. I waited too long and it dried too much and I had to go back and hit it again with the Polish because it looked like shit. Only let the Wax dry completely.
I will post pics of the finished product when I am done. I'll do one half of the boat completely for a comparison. Im happy with the results so far.

Today I finished the entire boat with the kit. Luckily my buddy came by and helped when I was about half way through. There was no way I wouldve finished before it got dark by myself. I had him follow me and wipe off the residue from the different cleaners. It took me about 3 and a half hours from start to finish. It looks GREAT! Looks like a new boat now, I couldnt be more pleased. The motor should be going in tomorrow.
