i was REALLY surprised how little people there were out for a memorial day weekend.  we launch at parker dam into havasu lake and last year we ALWAYS had to walk up to the 3rd parking lot.  this year there were 1-3 trucks in the first lot and that was it.

We had a good weekend....new boat kicks ass.  Spent 5 days at big river, cruised down to lost lake a couple times and hung out at shell beach, found some nice coves along the way to let the kid crawl around.  It was relaxing, didn't have to fix anything major, and at least I didn't break my leg.

Mine started out awesome, decided to change the ball valve on my pump Thursday night. The pipe nipple broke off flush in the 45 that goes into the pump. After pulling the transom adapter off and fixing the plumbing I messed with the carb and timing and hit 78. Got drunk and smoked way too many cigarettes.

Sounds like every one had a good time!  ;D No good storys from me really only thing that happened to me was my boat ran out of gas 2 miles from our cove no body was around to help us out. So we decided to call the marina and ask for a tow but they were going to charge us 300$ for a tow so we just said screw that so me and my two other buddys threw on life jackets put up the orange flag on the boat so in case people came flying the wouldnt get hit us  and jumped into the water and pushed/ swam the boat all the way back to camp cant recall on how long it took to get back  but it was definately a good work out

We didn't go out. My middle child graduated from high school!!! No more child support! She thought I was crying because she had completed yet another step toward becoming a woman, but I was just so happy that I would NEVER have to talk to her mom again! I am tearing up as I am typing. Sniffle,Sniffle

My weekend was pretty good. Ended up shearing the roll pin that holds the distributor gear on Friday afternoon but my problems were mild compared to what I saw. My buddies and I were tubing behind his Mastercraft Saturday evening and saw a guy drive his 19' Bahner II tunnel hull on the rocks and sink it. My buddies and I were first on scene and the three passengers were ok. We ended up towing/dragging it down the the next beach and where we got the water out of it and on the trailer for the owner. The worst part is the owner was not in the boat, his son in law was driving and the boat had only been in the water 30 min. I was really bummed about my boat till this happened and I realized, hey it could be worse. I will get some pics up and soon as my bro gets them to me.

well i ended up tearing down an old rusted shed, then went and priced new sheds, and wood kit sheds! Found out the price was to high! So I went down and bought lumber, and plywood and built a damn shed...gotta build the trusses tomorrow, and roof it! Needless to say my weekend sucked ass! A bad day on the lake is still better then a good day at work!

Maybe so but all that work pays for the toys though
