I use a setup by Q-See....it emails me a screen capture on motion detection as well as it has an app I can view the cameras from my phone. Best advise I can give you as to where to buy from is Costco.com online (not in the store) even if you aren't a member and pay the non-member fee, its still a deal compared to anywhere else online.

I think security and motion sensor lights will better serve you.  My experience with cameras has been that you will be able to watch people getting into your stuff.  Getting law enforcement to do anything about it may be an effort in futility.  You may even run into some legal problems of your own if your cams are recording public streets and sidewalks, particularly if minors are recorded.  A Pitt bull will keep the hood rats out of your yard, but that opens yourself to other issues.

 Good luck

I have 5 dogs, cameras, installed security film on outside glass throughout and met neighbors. I also raised my fence to 8' and put carpet tac strip around the top edge. Pits aren't a good defense but most retards/thieves listen to the media...I have a blue and 2 staffy's for the scare. If you have cams, you must have a sign that states that. Like "smile your on camera". I have 2 of these, front/back of house.

No cameras, no cops, dogs that roam freely, plenty of space to hide body's some where in the deep woods of TN

I probably shouldn't have but I told my 13 y/o daughter today that if she's going to kill someone, make sure you the hole dug first.

Not very happy about it because it would have been really nice to put the mmoney intothe boat, but I spent $270 on the q-see 4 camera with 500 gb dvr from costco. Next week I get to go buy a new fridge .boat status =on hold for another couple weeks
