Omega..........NICE ;)
Hey didn't you have a project going on here awhile back ???
Congrats................... ;D
-
Yes, sold the project for a running boat!!! ;D
454 with aluminum edlebrock heads, seems to haul ass but the pump can't keep up.
-
Nice Boat TC....I like the open bow...alot more practical (not as fast) as my Challenger, but glad to see ya got a new boat! ;D

Good luck with that. Hope you have a little $$$ for a rebulid. Nice boat BTW

Thanks for the congrats. This big block is pretty stout. I hope I don't have to rebuild anything soon. I'm not to pumped on the Panther jet. What do you guys think of these jets? I think I need a different impellar. I can launch right out of the water and hit 6 grand in no time. I have alot of questions for you guys being this is my first boat that has ever seen water. ???
-
TC, I like the matching/contrasting trailer color too, overall nice package!! My .02, slow down, take a breath, look at the boat carefully, and see what ABSOLUTELY, LIFE OR DEATH must be done to enjoy it THIS season. Be honest with yourself about your abilities and goals. Then STOP, and get ready to play.

Thanks alot guys. I feel like I got a smoking deal. I picked it up for $3000. I got it from one of my customers whos dad owned it. Its a sad story but his dad bought it last year before the fourth of july and took it out once and got in a horrible accident on their way to the lake in a different boat. They both died and the boat has been locked away since last year when this happened. The battery was still charged and it fired right up. I ran some numbers on the motor this morning. He said it has 5 hours on this new motor. It has Edelbrock RPM Marine heads. Edelbrock RPM air gap intake. Holley 850 Marine carb. I took out the breather on the valve cover and their is full roller rockers in there. I dont know what the bottom end has yet. The guy I got it from says he has all the paper work on it. Tom I deffinently will need help on the Panther jet. I have alot more pics and questions for you guys. Hope you dont mind.

I will post plenty of questions in the appropriate areas. Thanks

Here is a couple more pics. Sorry, I'm fired up!

Hey TC..are those your kids in that picture? If so..I am glad you did not drive all the way out here to So Cal to look at my Challenger, cuz it's not really a "kid friendly boat". ;D I love that open bow you got, very cool! ;) Tracy

Hey Tracy whats up. No those are not my kids. Nieces and nephews. I dont have kids so it would of been ok. I like your boat alot. I was about to jump in the truck and come see you in Cali. I really like this boat alot. I had it out once and it was a blast. You cant miss it either with the bright ass paint. I was very happy when I found out about the open bow. Thanks for the comments. Any beginner advice would be great. I have been asking alot of questions already. Anything that might be the dumbest simplest things please let me know.
-
No question is a "dumb" question! ;) I will answer what I can,of course...but this site and the bunch of guy's will have all the knowledge and in such a friendly way imaginable! ;D If there is a question to ask about a boat...this is the place for the answer...Have fun with it and start readin' and learnin'.. "Boating...It's a BLAST!" And just remember a couple o lil' thing's about owning a boat as I have now owned 12 different ones....
#1-A Boat..."A big "hull" in the water you just keep dumping money into! :banghead: ;D
#2-The 2 happiest days of a boat owners life...."The day he buy's his boat and the day he sells it! :o ;D

Thanks man, thats why I love this site. I have been a member here for along time and I finally have a running boat to talk and learn about. Thanks to all the people answering my questions everywhere. I will have plenty more for you guys. One thing I noticed is trying to back this boat up. Is it the Panther jet or do I need alot of practice. It was a little intimidating bringing the boat back to the launch and it was windy as hell. I will get the feel for it soon I hope.

TC,
That really is a nice boat and from what you have described it sounds like the boat is mechanically well built as well.

Thanks Poverty. It has a bad ass 454 in it. Has all the good stuff. I'm waiting to get the paper work from the guy on the motor. He said he has all the details on the build. So far the top end looks awesome. It ran great. What a cool feeling to be crusing at 3500 rpm and hammer it and feel it take off. Cant wait to GPS it.
