I'm just glad my first couple trips and the upholstery project have been set aside for. Now I just gotta order that billet pop-up/flush bow light while I gots some wind in my sales.

I'll shake some trees, somethin'll turn loose.

One day I'm laid off without papers at home for a week and next day worked 19 hours, go figure.

I got side work lined up for the next month, small window job and a 35 window job as well as the contract on adding some offices in a warehouse.

Still kinda at the point I have to answer the work phone because of uncertainty after the next month.. I'd love to tell them to pound sand, I can get used to bidding my own.. but shit, anyone see the recent fuel prices?  Running the boat is gonna be $200+ a day!

Yeah no shit... I filled up the boat and truck two weeks ago and about died. 34 gals for the boat and 25 gals for the truck. At $4.36 ... $260 and I hadn't even got snacks or beer yet.

At least it wasn't just me. Entire company went tits up today. Mailman brought a nice little note.

I hated it, true.

I'm glad I kept my dealership up with Milgard now. Phone is starting to ring again.. I was almost ready to buy a house, may be blessing in disguise cause then once I get a mortgage I would've been a slave to that job or one just like it to keep head above water.

I really just want to work for myself doing the window and door thing, I don't mind working 100 hr weeks if I get all the benefit. My window work has been by word of mouth, not a huge quantity, but very solid. Now I need to pony up and fork out some for advertisement.. Here I go.
