i need a splash guard (i guess thats what you call it) for the back of my boat. if there is the slighest wake or wave and im backing up or a boat drives by when the my boat is beached i get all that water in the engine bay and dont want to fry the wiring, does anyone have an extra one kickin around? if not I'm gonna fab one out of aluminum

Don't beach it, anchor it bow out. That might help a lil

I did some research and decided that plexi glass is probably the best way to go. finney's can make you one out of tinted plexi for about $500.00. I was told by another boat owner with a set up in plexi that he had contacted a plastics company who was able to make his for $100.00 with him taking the measurements.

thanks guys. i'm gonna check out those leads.... i have to mention that this site is amazing...everyone is more helpful than i could have ever imagined and i have been on a bunch of different forums for my cars trucks bikes and so forth and SCJB is bar far the best in every way... cudo's to all of your guys man andd cant wait to drink a beer with some of you guys in the future

the one i got was tinted plexi glass and it was right about 125 bucks, but that was quite a few years ago, i know a couple other people here have called them more recently

X2, thats where I got mine, came with the stainless allen screws and nuts, and also the thick machined washers. Looks killer. I want to say it was around 175$ :thumbup: :thumbup:
