I traded a baja bug project for this little gem this weekend. The guy says it is a "sea jet" but i cant find any info on these things at all.

It came with a berk 6j pump and a 550 jet ski motor. its about 7 foot long.

on the same note i still have that 10 ft GW Invader hull that i was originally going to use but now i am going to build this other one. So if anyone out there is looking for a cool mini boat hull i got one for sale.

200 is what i paid for the invader. you can have it for the same price if ya come get it. its a pretty seet flat bottom boat and its 10ft so i think it will handle pretty well. and it looks cool.

thanks cutter. Ya i think i did good too. these little boats are hard to find. the pump in this one needs to be rebuilt. i am going to talk to tom a JBP about that.

the 550 that came with the boat seems to have good compression but the carb looks to be frozen, im not too sure i have not looked that closely i just got it yesterday. I would like to stick the biggest jet ski motor i can find in this thing. something like an 1100 would be nice. lol.

anyway check your garages if anyone has anything that might help me get this boat on the water I would be in your debt. I want this thing up and running this summer. I know i will need a gas pedal and a forward revers lever. probably going to need a spun aluminum gas tank as well. might run two tanks i will have to see how much room i got first.

anyway i could use your guys help on this one.

AQUAHOLIC, that sure looks like an Australian B Jet.....

Only seen two on the river and they both had sport jets in the (90HP Mercury engines  :screwy: ) The ones I saw were only a few years old in 2007....So who knows....Maybe the same thing?

What GW hull do you have? What do you need to get out of it...I have an idea  ::)

the GW is a 1969 or 1970 GW Invader hull it looks like this
(https://www.socaljetboats.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.thehulltruth.com%2Fattachments%2Fboats-sale-wanted%2F56838-g-w-invader-028.jpg&hash=8a0222037d522cadc78d874c63e723d5ac042c62)

granted that one is complete and mine is just a hull and steering wheel.

Quickolds. Ill take it. i am sure it is way easier making a cable shorter than it is to make it longer.

GT Jets what is your idea?

I have a buddy that has a three seater Sea Doo with a 900 in it that was just involved in a bad accident on the trailer...The hull is toasted, but it still runs and the bottom did not get hurt because it was strapped to the trailer.......This thing is like a 2008 and ran like it was scared....

I think we need to get propless to graft the bottom of the Sea Doo into the Invader... :o

Probably kill somebody, but you would die with a big dumb smile on your face... ;D

i think you shoudl give me a good deal on the 900 and i will swap all that power into the 7 ft and try to give the jetling a run for its money.

Oh boy in usual tony fashion this project is becoming a monster. I have everything i need to just put together a nice 30mph mini jet. But instead i am looking at a salvaged 1300 sea doo with 155hp rotax. should put mini boat near 70mph. lol.. i dont even know if it will stay on the water at that speed but boy it would be fun.

Apparently there is still a company making impellers for the 6JA berk pump and they have many different pitches. the problem comes with the diameter of the pump itself. you can only fit so much water thru the small diamater pump. So if i decide to go the fast route i will have to glass in a new suction section and use the pump out of the sea doo.

yep that is what i have. and that is a pretty good deal on one that is already done.!! mine is pretty much just a hull. but if you have an old outboard or know where to get one. you could have mine up and running for less than 500$
