not sure those tips look pretty spread out as well.
For what it's worth Tony, I've only ever seen them with the typical v-drive drop down elbows and "flex" hose to the exhaust tip.
Whether they are angled outward (The way I've almost always seen it) or inward really makes no diffrence.
Eddie Marine sells cast aluminum exhaust elbows but they $$$, otherwise...
Otherwise running the "flex" hose from elbow to the tips would be the 40 y/o way to do it.

so you are saying the (flex) hose will take the bends to get out the boat in the correct spot?

It's supposed to but I have yet to see a "flex" exhaust hose actually "flex" that much.

Eddie Marine also sells SS elbows and straight section in SS.
I'd try a single piece of hose to cut down on the connections and chances for a leak after a bumpy ride.
